Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.enter http://www.chef-lavan.co.il/ in your location bar 2.press enter Actual Results: you reach the message: " The "White Chef" site supports Internet Explorer 5 or higher. The browser you are currently using is incompatible with this site. You may download the latest version of Internet Explorer here: http://www.microsoft.com/ie." Expected Results: see the web site contact info: info@chef-lavan.co.il the company web site, tnuva.co.il, which has some problems of its own, has this contact form, which may be available in IE only:http://www.tnuva.co.il/site/he/tnuva.asp?pi=18 i received a complaint about this site from a mac user, with a screen shot, hence the hardware/os = all/all
one more thing: feel free to send them an evangalism letter. i'll be busy with the 1.6 language pack release and won't be able to do it.
the block was raised. most things now work, except for the video demonstrations. close?
It's not just the videos. Some pseudo-links (onclick=document.location.href) don't display a hand cursor. See the "מתכוני השבוע" section. Is this a known Mozilla bug? Prog.
They are using style="cursor: hand;" on the homepage, which only works in IE. Fix for them: replace all occurences of "cursor: hand;" with "cursor: pointer; cursor: hand;" The links still work though.
changing summary. it appears to me that the videos are served by a third party: castup.net. we should contact them about this problem.
Summary: chef-lavan.co.il - site blocks mozilla → chef-lavan.co.il - videos don't work, can't see hand cursor on links
i sent them an email about the two problems described above, with a direct link to comment 3.

Seems they've made the fix in comment 4. I don't know enough Hebrew to be comfortable confirming a video fix, but the one video I see on the home page seems to work OK. Tsahi, do the videos seem to be FIXED to you?

Ever confirmed: true
the video on the front page doesn't load in SM. i get an error message in the status bar, that a java applet failed to load. i also get a java error icon in the area of the video (a red X on a white square). in firefox, i get a black color on the same area, with the windows media player context menu if i right click on it. the videos on the Chef TV area (http://www.chef-lavan.co.il/tabid/82/Default.aspx) are Flash based, and work fine.
The video on the front page loads fine with the Flip4Mac plugin on Mac via this code: <object id="dnn:ctr576:MediaPlayer_wmp" name="dnn:ctr576:MediaPlayer_wmp" width="245" height="150" application="application/x-mplayer2"><param name="src" value="http://www.chef-lavan.co.il/Portals/0/files/tv/ofir_5.wmv"><param name="autoStart" value="0"><param name="enableContextMenu" value="0"><param name="enabled" value="-1"><param name="fullScreen" value="0"><param name="invokeURLs" value="-1"><param name="mute" value="0"><param name="stretchToFit" value="-1"><param name="balance" value="0"><param name="currentPosition" value="0"><param name="playCount" value="1"><param name="rate" value="1.0"><param name="uiMode" value="none"><param name="volume" value="50"><embed id="dnn:ctr576:MediaPlayer_embed" name="dnn:ctr576:MediaPlayer_embed" width="245" height="150" type="application/x-mplayer2" src="http://www.chef-lavan.co.il/Portals/0/files/tv/ofir_5.wmv" pluginspage="http://download.microsoft.com/download/winmediaplayer/nsplugin/6.4/WIN98/EN-US/wmpplugin.exe" AutoStart="0" AutoSize="1" ShowControls="0" /></object> If that's not working in Seamonkey or Firefox on Windows, that's probably a different bug. I don't think it's TE, because I don't see anything wrong with that embedding code.
the video on the front page works fine now, with the WMP firefox plugin.
