A blank area (alecf@netscape.com says it's gray, for me it's white) sometimes appears on this page just below the "Business from cnnfn.com" heading (about halfway down the page). This appears to be related to the window width - the window has to be a certain minimum width before the bug will show up. This minimum size also appears to be the size where the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom goes away.
I see some blank space that isn't there when viewing the page in Navigator. The page seems to be all tables, so I assume this is a table issue. Changing component and re-assigning

I think what you're seeing is not the bug that was descibed. The blank area in question is about 2inches high and spans the width of the page, covering the content below it. It's as if the area is not being painted when it's resized past a certain point.

yes, this is blank as in "not painted" - on linux it's a big grey area. I'm pretty sure this is a paint problem not a table problem, as the page itself lays out just fine. I noticed that on cnn.com, my window has to be at least 750 pixels wide to actually make this happen. putting kmcclusk and blizzard on the Q.T.

Marking worksforme based on last comments. I'm not seeing the problem on WinNT.

This is actually related to view manager problems, I've found out, and will be fixed when view manager 2 is turned on.
