User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; AIX 00FFFFFF4C00; en-US; rv:1.4.1) Gecko/20031106 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; AIX 000675724C00; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031216 When running mozilla with GOK 0.7.1-1, the Toolbars and UI Grab buttons correctly display. However, with gok 0.8.4-1 and newer, mozilla is apparently not registering the toolbar or the other items in the ui correctly because the Toolbars and UI Grab selections are not available. Other applications like the gnome terminal work the same with both of the gok versions mentioned above. That is the UI Grab selection does come up as an item that is selectable in both gok versions( 0.8.4-1 and 0.7.1-1 ) for the gnome terminal. This change/problem was seen on both Linux and AIX. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Does "xvkbd" (http://member.nifty.ne.jp/tsato/xvkbd/) work for Mozilla on AIX ?

Roland: This bug deals solely with the Gnome onscreen keyboard program, since Mozilla uses the Gnome accessibility libraries (and supporting programs) to implement accessibility support on Unix. We have no intentions of building or testing Mozilla with other keyboard programs at this time.
I guess this is caused by bug 235719. We are seeing the same problem on Linux.

Philip, I'm making you the owner of GOK bugs by default. Reassign to me when necessary. Is this bugs still a problem? Kyle said it was caused by bug 235719, which is now fixed.

Part of this problem was fixed by Bug 235719, however the Toolbars and UI Grab buttons still do not work, because we are not setting state ATK_STATE_SHOWING for several of the accessible elements in Mozilla. GOK only recurses down elements with state ATK_STATE_SHOWING. The patch in Bug 239867 appears to fix this problem.
