I get some mails (from Outlook-Clients), that sometimes must be unreadable for
MozillaMail.
I can't look the image inline, but if I save it I can display the image.
If I want to forward this Attachment-Mail MozillaMail forget to put attachment
into the attachment-list of the new mail.
If you have such a mail you can reproduce it every time.
Try it yourself. Look my uploaded file ...
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Forward the mail (inline)
2. and you'll see, that the image is missing
Actual Results:
Empty attachment list
Expected Results:
Attachment in the list
I have moved a mail into an extra folder and will upload this file. So you just
have to copy the file to you Mail-Directory and will get an Folder (named
forword-test2) in MozillaMail.
There is one mail. Try to forward it.
put it in your mail-directory and try to forward the message.

The fact that the image is not displaying originally looks like bug 129285.
(Image is an 'attachment' not inline, and referenced in the HTML body with an
<IMG> tag -- but there is an apparent problem in getting the IMG's src attribute
to correspond to the attachment ID.)
The problem with forwarding is a very-long-standing bug, to which I'm duping
this. Please do move your vote to that bug.
The workaround is to either forward as attachment, or forward inline into the
HTML composer. Alternately, you might use Edit As New to 'redirect' the message
without forwarding. (Be warned that in some cases, this will result in the
image being dropped when sent -- see bug 187064.)
