User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7

In Xfree86, when surfing a valid, standards-based, XHTML 1.0 strict + CSS 2 web
page, middle-clicking loads the URL that was previously stored in X's clipboard
(that you can paste with middle click or left-and-right button click in two
buttons mouses). Besides, it throws an anchor, that with which the page goes up
and down depending on whether your mouse pointer is above or under the anchor.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select any URL
2. point Firebird to http://totalementcretin.apinc.org/
3. middle-click on any link (to "open in new tab", have to right-click, "open in
new tab")

Actual Results:
Anchor present, URL loading. Have to left-click away from the anchor.

Expected Results:
Opened link in new tab.

This sounds like a dup of bug 216899. Does this only happen on XHTML pages, or
does it also happen on e.g. quirks-mode HTML pages?
