User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr-FR; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr-FR; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 It happens after the ssl certificate acceptance of the smtp server Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Composing an email 2.Sending it by clicking the "send" button whether from the "unsent messages" directory. 3.Accepting the ssl certificate (optional) Actual Results: Error message in a pop up window: "An error occured while sending mail The mail server responded: unable to read controls (#4.3.0). Please verify that your email address is correct in your mail preferences and try again." I did that, and still. Expected Results: mozilla should have sent the message! The error originally happened with mozilla 1.4.1 I upgraded to Mozilla 1.6 and it still happens. It happens from today only without any configuration changes. Another machine running the windows 1.5 version is also concerned, with a different email account. Important: I have been able to send emails with kmail without any troubles.
Eric Van Grevenynghe: is this bug still a problem for you? The error appears to be a problem coming from the SMTP server; if you are still encountering the problem, we'll need to see your SMTP server settings. If this is *not* still a problem, please mark this bug: Resolved | WorksForMe
