Query Bugzilla: The default Status choices select the bugs verified and being
worked. If I'm doing a search, I most often want everything. It would be very
convenient to have that as a simple choice, rather than having to select
additional values.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
you can also select no values...
that said i'm not actually opposed to this in a redesign of the query form.

The best default query for b.m.o. is bug 194116.
The enhancement you request (single choice which means "All") is never going to
happen; it would be too confusing. Look at the OS dropdown - it has a choice
called "All"; doing what you ask would make them mean totally different things.
So this is either WONTFIX or a dupe of the above bug.

OK, how about simply "Do Not Pre-Select any 'Status'"
It took rather a lot of fiddly-diddling about before I stumbled on the fact
that, by holding CTL+<click> on the pre-selected value it would go away. I hope
that means "report it regardless of Status"
Better, in any case, if the single choice read 'Any' (vice. 'All').
I mean, how hard is this? I want to extract all bugs on a given topic that have
been changed in the past 'N' days; not filtered on anything else. Why should I
have do play around with the 'Status' control?

This is something that would need to be fixed in Bugzilla before we could do
anything about it on mozilla.org.
I'm with Gerv on it being more trouble than it's worth to add it, however.
I'm thinking perhaps it might be better to add a title attribute to most of the
<select> widgets letting you know that you can deselect a status by holding down
the control or command keys while clicking.

Reassigning bugs that I'm not actively working on to the default component owner
in order to try to make some sanity out of my personal buglist. This doesn't
mean the bug isn't being dealt with, just that I'm not the one doing it. If you
are dealing with this bug, please assign it to yourself.
