My printer only supports PCL (PCL5e). When I print a page from Firebird 0.7 to my Okipage 14e, it prints out the text to the post script file that Firebird sends it. :'( I need a PCL5e option to print as well as postscript. I have been told that Opera does support PCL, so someone may want to look at how they did it for ideas. This is my set up: Red Hat 9 ghostscript-7.05.5-0.i386.rpm LPRng-3.8.19-3.1.i386.rpm gimp-print-4.2.5-2.i386.rpm LPRngTool-1.3.2-1.i386.rpm ifhp-3.5.6-1.i386.rpm And, no I can not switch to CUPS. It does not support "send_try" in the printcap. (And it is buggier than ...) Many thanks, --Tony aewell@gbis.com Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This shouldn't be something the app should have to worry about. We need more information about how you set up the printer before we can proceed here. Thanks.

Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it.
