User-Agent:
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040128

Downloaded and built Mozilla from CVS on Tue 27 Jan 2004.

The default java plugin being offered is version 1.3 ... seem to me it should be 1.4

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. build mozilla
2. go to website that requires java plug-in
3. follow link to download default plug-in

Actual Results:
at http://wp.netscape.com/plugins/jvm.html I am being offered Java Plug-in
Version 1.3

Expected Results:
Java Plug-in Version 1.4
Thanks.
I am aware of places where I can go to get the Java Plug-in, however others may
not.

I submitted a bug report because I think it is a bug that the default plug-in,
which many/most of the masses would choose, is pointing to an old version of Java.
don't think we can do much about netscape pages...
