I have firebird with tabbrowser and TTLO extensions. I have configured TBE to work in one window. In  yahoo mail, when I click on Compose button, firebird opens another tab. Now both the original tab and the new tab have the same page - yahoo mail composition page.

And this is a bug in _Mozilla_, why?  It's either a bug in FB, or more likely in
TBE.

WFM, using:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040130
Firebird/0.8.0+

Nagu, please try this with a fresh install of Firebird with no extensions.  If
this works, then install your extensions (one at a time), and retest after each
one.  It sounds like you might have come across a bug in one of the extensions.
 Please report back with your findings.

This is a bug with TabBrowser Extension. FB functions properly without the TBE.

Reporter, you may want to go to the home page for the extension and see if this
is a known issue.  If you don't see this issue listed, send an e-mail to the
author of the extension to inform him of it.
