I just downloaded and installed Mozilla 1.6 on a fresh Windows XP system (Just
did a reinstall)  As I browse around various pages, the lowercase 't' character
is often missing from text.  Also some link text does not get painted.

I am running the English version of Mozilla on a Japanese XP system.  Not sure
if that has anything to do with the problem.

I have placed a screen shot of the www.debian.org page on my server but there is
nothing particular about that site.  I am getting the same problem as I enter
this issue.

In the image, not that I have selected half of one of the links, the text shows
up in the unselected portion of the link text in red.  Depending on how much of
the link is selected, sometimes the first half of the text will be displayed,
and other times the second half.

Selecting the missing 't' characters in the regular text does not seem to have
any effect.  Is it never becomes visible.

I have not noticed any missing characters in regular tet other than 't'.  And it
is not every 't' in the page.  I'm not 100% sure, but it might only be a problem
with bold text??

I just tried this with Firebird 0.7 and it has the exact same problem.

Tracking down which font was used, I found that this was a problem with my Times
New Roman Bold font.  I was able to reproduce the problem in Notepad.

So this is not a Mozilla problem.  Apologies for the noise.  Rebooting again
made the problem go away.

Great work on the browser, it has really come a long way.
