RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 209355

Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 In other major, non-modal windows such as browser and mail windows, control-N opens a new browser window. However, in the bookmarks window, control-N does not open a new browser window. Instead, it sorts some bookmarks. A common keystroke like that should work consistently in most major windows. (The bookmarks window is a major window in the sense that you might leave it open to open other windows from its contents.) Additionally, where a common keystroke like that isn't actually used for the same function, it should at least not be used for a command that destroys information (sorting destroys the previous state of the list). This is a regression with respect to Netscape 4.x. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

This is not a duplicate of 209355. This one says that Control-N should be available from all (major) windows. 209355 does not say that. Therefore, they are not duplicates.
