User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Task manager shows 100% cpu use when this page is loaded in new tab, frequently (but not always) when loaded in new window, and always when loaded from a previously saved file. Other than slowing down the system, the page appears to load and display normally. Other pages from economist.com do not have this problem, and IE 6.0 has no problem with this page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. From the browser window, request a new tab. 2. Enter the URL 3. Actual Results: The system runs slow and Task Manager shows 100% cpu, with mozilla.exe using the bulk. Expected Results: Cpu use should drop to nominal value, as it does sometimes with this page when loaded in a new browser window.
WFM with linux trunk 20040203. the page has a flash ad, which often use significant amounts of CPU. There is nothing Mozilla can do about it.
I see this on LInux 2004022208. When I delete the flash plugin the page WFM.
