User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de-AT; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Tested with Mozilla 1.5: When I open calendar while the Mozilla Appearance Language is set to english(US), all is right. As soon as the Language is German(de) the following happens: on the lower left of the calendar window in red font appears: label="&toolsMenu.label;" and in a second line: ----------------^. Mozilla browser window does not react or actualize its view. Additionaly I cannot close mozilla calendar, I can not change to day-view or any other calendar view... and more symptoms of reduced calendar functionality but it reacts to clicks, for example I can change the darker colored day in the month view. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.set Mozilla Appearance language to german(de) (and restart) 2.open calendar window by clicking on the little icon in the lower left 3. for example try to close calendar again Actual Results: mozilla main browser window does not react in any way, calendar has only some functions left that work. Expected Results: keep on working
I can conform this bug for Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616, Calendar 20040622, language-pack for German. On Calendar startup the msg in red font appears: label="&toolsMenu.label;", and when I close the calendar, mozilla crashes. Switching back to english as language makes the bug vanish.
Could it be that the german translator didn't include &toolsMenu.label in the languagefiles and that's why Moz spits error messages? No that's not the problem. At least not anymore. http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/calendar/resources/locale/de-AT/menuOverlay.dtd#123 Reporter(s) are there still issues with this? (No I don't know how to change the language in TB/Cal =)
Works for me (Mozilla 1.7.3, Calendar calendar_windows_20040910.xpi, current langpack DE) THX!
