Automatic scaling of pictures to fit in the browser window is a Good Thing. I like it. But, they stay scaled when you print, and that's kinda Bad. 1. Go view a picture that's bigger than the browser window (see the URL for one) 2. Note that it's shown scaled in the browser window 3. Print it Note that it prints at the reduced scale, even though the page is big enough to hold it. 4. Click the image to view it full-sized 5. Print it Now it prints full-sized, taking up the empty page area. When printing, pictures should print full-sized. Even better, they should do auto-scaling based on the page size. That would be cool. build 2004020303
what do mozilla and firefox do?
Oh! Firefox (0.8 release) has the same problem. At least on my Mac. Lemme try on some other platforms. Dunno about Mozilla.
over to mozilla.
my guess is that this is XP, but i'll leave the platform fields alone until Avi can confirm. nominating for 1.7a
Confirmed on Firefox 0.8 release on Win32. Still don't know about Mozilla, but that probably doesn't matter as Firefox Is The Future...
maybe someone can look at this for 1.7b, dbaron any ideas on who can help?
no progress, not going to block beta.
This bug does not exist in Firefox 18.104.22.168, but does exist in the June 7 nightly builds of Seamonkey 1.0.2 and 1.1a, as well as the May 19 (most current) nightly of Seamonkey 1.5a. This is using the linux builds on CentOS 4.
