When a poll of the mail server fails (e.g. maybe the server is down or the
dial-up connection has been terminated possibly by the user), it would be
helpful if the same dialog that tells you that the mail server can't be reached,
also prompted you whether you want to work offline (and hence avoid having to
pick other extra menu options if this is desired).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Startup the mail client with polling set to each minute
2. Disconnect your network cable
3. Observe the dialog
I don't see any existing requests for this feature. setting status to New.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Summary: When can't connect to mail server should give an option to work offline → cannot connect to mail server should offer "work offline" option
This would be really useful.
