233777 - after clicking a link to open a new page, you can still see the old page. i like to be able to middle click the other links on the page while i'm waiting - to open them aswell but in new pages.

i'm pretty sure mozilla used to do this just fine. somewhere along the line it
stopped doing it. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. find a page with more than one link
2. click a link
3. while the new page is loading, middle click another link

Actual Results:  
you only get the page that you clicked on first. 

Expected Results:  
opened both pages in seperate windows.

Works for me in:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8

I clicked "View Bug Activy" then middle clicked "Format For Printing", both
pages were opened.

on further testing i've found it works for me sometimes, but doesnt most of the

Yeah, this isn't fixed completely.  I just voted for it, too, so please
un-resolve it.

You can only middle click until the page and tab title changes, then you can't.  IMO, you should be able to click until the page CONTENTS switches.

This bug is still present for middle clicks.  The desired behavior works for left clicks, but we want it to also be available for middle clicks.  I think the author marked it WFM, however, I don't think it was ever fixed in my mind.

Please re-open this.
