Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 When adding a bookmark in Firefox, the "create in" dropdown seems to not have a default setting. It sometimes isn't even what has been used previously and seems to change randomly (I have not noticed any pattern). I recommend that the "create in" dropdown have a default to create bookmarks in the standard "bookmarks" folder and go to that every time a bookmark is added. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Simply add bookmarks over time and across a few browsing sessions. It's quite easy to see. Actual Results: The create in dialogue continues to change the selection it starts out with, despite having given no reason to. Expected Results: automatically defaulted to "Bookmarks" for each add bookmark action.
Summary: create in dropdown in add bookmark dialogue seems to change randomly and has no default → "create in" dropdown in the add bookmark dialogue seems to change randomly and has no default
