User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040207 Firefox/0.8 Mozilla has a "Site Navigation Bar" (Menu View->Show/Hide) that renders <link rel="previous" href="..."> <link rel="top" href="..."> etc. links inside that toolbar. It would be nice to bring that useful feature to a next version of Firefox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This is available as an extension: http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/linktoolbar

This was left out intentionally. -> WONTFIX

(In reply to comment #3) > This was left out intentionally. > -> WONTFIX Just out of curiosity, is there a document that describes which kind of features in general will go into the application's core and which are rather added via extensions? I understand that the site navigation bar functionality is probably not "mainstream" (as in: neither implemented on many webpages nor important for all users), so it was left out.
(In reply to comment #3) > This was left out intentionally. > -> WONTFIX I guess there are good reasons for this decision. Personally I think those "meta-navigation" is a good thing. I hoped for a more widespread adoption leading to support by all major browsers (including IE). Sad to see that instead of moving to a enabled-by-default state in Mozilla/Firefox this feature has been removed altogether. A step in the wrong direction IMHO. Sorry for spamming, but I just had to express my feelings ;-)
