We have several corporate users who have the Mozilla client installed on their
Windows 2000 workstations. When I reply to a message sent from another Mozilla
user the user who receives the mail does not have a date, time stamp on mail.
If this mail requires several back and forth reply's it is difficult to know
when the different conversations occured. This is also a problem on the 'Reply
All' function.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Construct a new mail and send to another Mozilla User
2. Click the Reply or Reply All button to respond to the original sender
3. You can continue this process between the two or more users as long as you
wish, but you will see that there is not date/time stamp associted with the
mail messages.
Actual Results:
The original messages are shown, but need to be date/time stamp.
Expected Results:
It would be most helpful is when reply or reply all are used that the original
message indicate a date/time stamp so that everyone involved in the email
process knows the exact order that the mail was created, and responded too from
all users.
We have some users who are using other mail clients. When they receive the
messages or reply, their mail clients do include date/time stamps. It makes it
difficult to keep users focused on using the Mozilla product when they believe
a different mail client would be better.
see bug 23615 comment 45 and 46 about how to turn this reply-type on.
