User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Many sited unfortunately work only on IE. It would be great if I could invoke them from Firefox. Allow a configurable secondary browser, and on CTRL-SHIFT-LEFT_CLICK on a link, open that link in the alternative browser. Thanks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
There is an extension for this: http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/ieview . See also bug 199370 (same bug for Camino) and bug 218492 (Seamonkey).
The extension is enough, for those who want it. We're not going to provide core UI for opening in another browser, for any number of reasons, even based on principle. You might also be interested in the Launchy extension.
