Details

If press New Message and press in the Subject field there is a stange blue line in the start of the To field. If you swith to another application and back to the composer window the blue line has gone.

Seems like another example of the "multiple caret" problem. If so, it's a dup of bug 23423 and probably many others. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 23423 ***
