I've just examined the sidebar of DOM-I in Firefox.
It works most of the cases by loading chrome://inspector/content/sidebar.xul in
the Web Panels of Firefox.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a bookmark linked to chrome://inspector/content/sidebar.xul.
2.Check the box that loads bookmark in the sidebar(Web Panels).
3.Load it.
4.Load any pages.
5.Click the popup menu of DOM-I(changing the list of DOM Nodes, Stylesheet etc...)
Actual Results:  
No popup menu is shown.

You can see this behavior by opening the chrome-URI and pressing the popup menu.
You don't have to add a new bookmark for the sidebar.
