The message send options in the Message menu don't get checkmarks when selected.

To reproduce:
1. New Msg
2. Message | Priority | High
3. Message | Priority

Actual result: The submenu lists the message priority options, but none are checked

Expected result: the selected option, High, should have a checkmark next to it

As far as I can tell, the messages are sent with the right options, just the
selection is not indictaed in the menu.

Same for other message options (return receipt, send format, MIME/uuencode).

you need to add type="radio" in messengercompose.xul on line 401-405 to get a 
check next to the selected message priority

Luis - can you clarify?  Do you see a checkmark next to the "High" priority menu 
item?  You can try this in 4.7 for comparison.
