Details
User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040210 Firefox/0.8 It would be a very nice feature if Firefox would be able to process searches with Search-Engine shortcuts like Opera does. I.e. if you type g firefox, a google search with the keyword "firefox" is initiated. e firefox for ebay, etc. If you are used in using this shortcuts, you will painfully miss this feature in Firefox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try Opera and get used in this feature 2. 3. Actual Results: I missed it in Firefox ;) Expected Results: Perform a search.. ;)

You mean like bookmark keywords? Firefox should have come with a few predefined ones, google and dictionary.com are two IIRC. AFAICT, they're almost identical to what you said. Can you look at them and then mark this WORKSFORME?

Perfect. Keywords are working fine with Google and ebay. I didn't know the keyword feature. It should be included in the Tips page. Thx a lot for solving my problem.
