Go into Compose New Message. Attach a file from fx. a CD-ROM drive. Now before
sending the mail, remove the CD-ROM drive and Mozilla will give you this error
message in a alert box when presseing the Send button:
Alert: [StringID(hex)=ffffff?]
Shouldn't the attached file be copied over to the TEMPORARY directory when
pressing attach like in Netscape 4.7?

Mass moving to M16 to get these off the M15 radar. Please let me know if this
is really an M15 stopper.

In build 2000062020 you are just returned to the composer, without any error or
anything. Not even a thing in the console.
To reproduce:
1. Compose a new message
2. Attach file c:\temp\test.png
3. Go to your file commander and delete c:\temp\test.png
4. Press Send
OS: Windows 98 → All
Hardware: PC → All
Summary: Tyring to send non existing attached file gives weird alert box → Trying to send non existing attached file gives me no error
Luis - can you try the steps in this bug report on the latest builds on Mac and

Now getting "sending of message failed".
So kind of fixed. A much better error message could be needed...:)

Using commercial builds 2001-03-01 on winme, mac and linux the original bug is
fixed. Also fixed is the last mentioned bug that the user now gets (2) error
messages. What's left is that the user get's one error message "Sending of
message failed", which is a dup of bug 68485. Verifying as fixed.
