I still think having the phoenix logo in source makes no sense when the product is named Firefox. But maybe that's just me... Besides, there's already unofficial artwork for Fx that makes a bit more sense-- specifically, an abstract logo made by 'nexx': http://scragz.com/tech/mozilla/firefox-unofficial-branding.php Also, I'm not sure whether we could get the rights for this, but another possibility that's been suggested is seeing if we could get permission to include the original red-panda logo from Hicks in the source. http://www.hicksdesign.co.uk/journal/archives/000377.php

As of yesterday CVS now contains a blue globe logo for the about box (like the official one but without the fox wrapped around it), same for the app/document icons.
Ah, OK. The nightly binaries with the new logo hadn't been posted yet...I assume they'll be coming out today.
