Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; da-DK; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 When I spellcheck mails I often find misspelled words for which the spellchecker doesn't have a correct suggestion. In these cases I would like to edit the word directly without closing the spellcheck dialog. This is a common behavior in word processors. As of now (1.6) the spellchecker dialog locks you away from editing the mail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Compose new message 2. Write something in the new message 3. Start spellcheck 4. Click on the message your a spellchecking Actual Results: You should experience that the window focus is locked to the spellchecker dialog. Expected Results: Focus should be on the message with all abilities to edit an so forth. Meanwhile the spellchecker dialog should still be on top but unfocused.
Summary: Focus is locked to the spellchecker dialog when using spellchecker → spellchecker dialog should not be modal
I agree 101%. This is really annoying. Jay Smith
