Details
User-Agent:
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040220 Firefox/0.8
The browser tabs don't seem to close, regardless of whether I click on the "X",
right-cick the tab and choose "Close Tab", choose "Close Tab" from the main
menu, or press Ctrl+W. I am using a clean profile. New tabs can be opened.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Firefox started as normal, but the browser tabs would not close.
Expected Results:
The tabs should have closed when I clicked the "X", etc.
Using default theme. IE View 6.0 and PNH Developer Tools for Firebird v0.51
extensions are installed, and I can't seem to disable them.

Now I have installed the .zip version of the 2/20/04 build for Windows
(FirefoxMozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040220
Firefox/0.8.0+) on my home PC. It is also running WinXP Pro. This computer
didn't have any extensions previously installed, but I deleted the old "Mozilla"
and "Phoenix" profile directories as well as the "MozillaFirebird" directory
just to make sure I had a fresh install. I also searched my registry for
"Mozilla" and "firebird" and didn't find anything other than references to IE's
User Agent string.
This time, I can close tabs in all of the ways I couldn't earlier... a.k.a. All
seems in proper order. If anyone wants, I haven't changed anything on my work PC
since reporting this bug, so I could provide more info upon request.
