Can't authenticate against ssl forms

Details
I haven't been able to get build 12 to login to to hotmail or other services that submit the form to a secure site. Seems to work fine as long as it's not secure.

Yes. For certain legal reasons, there is no encryption code in the source or binary releases from mozilla.org. I assume that Netscape will provide a branded version with this functionality at some point in the future. However, there should be better user feedback of this situation, and there is an existing bug report for this: Marking DUPLICATE of bug #17697 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 17697 ***
