When you fail to log on to a site with the username/password dialog and fail, there is not indication of this. It simply repeats the same username/password dialog.

And what's particularly annoying is that you can't seem to cancel the password dialog. Neither the cancel buton nor closing the window do anything but reloading the same password-protected page, and hence redisplaying the password dialog. Linux build 2000.01.20.08
