Can you please provide the exact link you installed calendar from?
Also the version of the calendar from Help->About Calendar.

I installed Calendar from Ericb's Mozilla Calendar Log
http://pagesperso.laposte.net/ericb/
Specifically here:
http://pagesperso.laposte.net/ericb/calendar-experi-031211-windows.xpi
Version is: 2003092614-cal

A newer version of calendar is available for firefox 0.8 at
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/xpi/windows/calendar_windows_20040109.xpi
which should solve the problem.
Please try and see if it does.
For future reference, http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/download.html can
be used to find the most appropriate version of the calendar xpi for the
application in use.

Thanks for the info. I've installed this newest version of Calendar. Now I don't
get the error, but the Alert Emails aren't being sent either.
Any suggestions?

Well, firefox doesn't have emailing capabilities being just a browser so
calendar can't use it for sending out emails. There's nothing to be done for
that. What I can suggest is using either thunderbird+calendar or Mozilla
Suite+calendar. That way you will have the ability to send out emails from your
calendar.

Even though id didn't appear that way, my original install (the one that had
errors) was the Thunderbird + Calendar one. I'll try to find the "Stable" build
for Thunderbird and attempt this again.
Thanks for your help Mostafa

WFM TB 0.8 and extension 2004100812
The errors from FF was fixed in some release prior to 2004-02-25. The problem
for TB was based on 2004010914-cal wich is pretty outdated now and after all,
this works for me.
