Details
User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 I've set disk cache size to 100000 kB and downloaded a 105000 kB file (http://www.isi.edu/~koehn/publications/europarl/v2/de-en.tgz linked from http://www.isi.edu/~koehn/publications/europarl/) Although files are stored in the disk cache after it had been erased by the download, they are not retrieved from the cache. Shutting down the browser and restarting causes the content to be reloaded. The about:cache "storage in use" is weird: > Disk cache device > Number of entries: 576 > Maximum storage size: 100000 k > Storage in use: 3148675 k Windows claims 32MB (it being roughly a 1/1000th fraction is a coincidence, the "storage in use" doesn't change despite files being added continuously to the cache). I vaguely remember I had the same or at least simlar enough problem with Mozilla 1.4 some months ago. Clearing the cache manually is not enough to fix the problem. The about:cache doesn't even display anything afterwards. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set disk cache size to 100000k 2. Download a file larger than 100000k via HTTP.

Seems to be a duplicate. Why does #229984 show up high on searches from the bugzilla entry page but not on the 200 most relevat results as displayed from the bug entry page? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 229984 ***
