This bug may be related. bug-org 235779 And proxy is used in the environment from which this problem happened. Furthermore, this problem does not happened in the case where an anchor with a name is clicked with a left mouse button.
For this bug, instead of getting a blank space in the place of the "#", I get a square displayed. This bug also affects the ability to select this URL's text past the square character. Selection of this text is very buggy. I also get text corruption when I switch from a tab with this error to another tab which has a smaller length URL. You see some leftover text from the tab that was supposed to contain the #. More specifically, some of the text past the square character appears truncated and in the same postion as it was in its own tab, but this shows up in the tab that is switched to. Once I move the mouse over the address box of the tab I switch to, the corruption goes away. But if I switch back to the intial tab, and then back, the corruption reappears every time.
Obviously, there is a bug in the Additional Comments input box. Here is what I just posted, but with breaks. Also, note that I am using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040225 Firefox/0.8.0+ (mmoy) For this bug, instead of getting a blank space in the place of the "#", I get a square displayed. (In reply to comment #3) > This bug may be related. > bug-org 235779 oops.. bug 235042 And bug 235042 status is WORKSFORME. Furthermore, in 3/2 of build, I can think that this problem is fixing. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ja-JP; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040302 Firefox/0.8.0+
I can confirm that 3/2 also fixed this for me.
