I have enabled "Ask me before storing a cookie". When Mozilla prompts me to
accept or reject a cookie, the dialog box is located in a very hard-to-notice
position. The dialog box appears just underneath the URL bar. I'm usually
looking at the center of the Mozilla window when this dialog box appears, and
therefore I don't notice it. Not only that, but because the dialog box is the
same color as the surrounding area, it takes me too long to move the mouse over
the accept or reject button.

This dialog box should be located in the center of the Mozilla window. In fact,
that's where it used to be, so I don't know why it's been moved.

When did you notice this regression?
sounds like sheets...
I think it started happening with 1.5, or maybe 1.4. Do you want me to download
the recent releases and try to find the exact version?
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

screen shot?
As you can see, the dialog box is right underneath the title bar. I think there are other dialog boxes that have this same problem.
FYI, this problem still exists with Seamonkey 1.1.1.
stefan, karsten, do you see this? bug 34152?
related? bug 136422, bug 277001.
(on windows, the box is positioned in the middle as Timur suggests it should be)
Keywords: regression
Yeah, bug 136422 and 277001 are related. On mac, sheets pops out from underneath the window title bar.
