User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8
If you leave the import bookmark dialogue box open it is imposable to auto scroll.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a page that has vertical scroll bars
2. Open the bookmark manager
3. Open the import bookmark dialogue but leave it open
4. Go back to the page with vertical scroll bars and middle click
Actual Results:
Middle clicking did nothing, however the scroll wheel still works.
Expected Results:
Either the browser should force me to finish importing bookmarks before I go
back to browsing. Or I should be able to middle click to auto-scroll.
You can use any dialogue box that is generated by the bookmark manager.

Preforming the steps to reproduce and middle clicking on a link preforms the
correct function loading the link in a new window or tab.
I was able to produce this behavior in FireFox 0.8 and Mozilla 1.6.

This is a Firefox only bug I forgot that Mozilla does not have an auto-scroll
feature.
Recap
If you leave the import/export bookmark box open auto-scroll does not work.
If you leave the new bookmark or new folder box open auto-scroll works
Ignore the section

Still seeing this in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2)
Gecko/20040810 Firefox/0.9.1+
Just to give a clean recap.
Import and export bookmarks in the bookmark manager allow the user to focus the
main browser window while in the process of importing/exporting bookmarks.
When one middle clicks and holds to activate the autoscroll. The scroll does not
function. Firefox should either scroll or force the user to finish the
import/export process.
Steps
1. Open bookmark manager
2. File ... Import or Export leave the open box or save as box alone
3. Focus a browser window and middle click and hold to scroll
Actual Results:
Middle click and hold brings up the scroll graphic however scrolling does not
work. However rolling the scroll wheel up/down still works.
Expected Results:
Either the browser should force me to finish importing bookmarks before I go
back to browsing or I should be able to hold a middle click to scroll.
