Details
thanks to shrirang for finding this one,
Overview Description:
It looks like a new bookmark (Bookmarks|Add Current Page) isn't being added
to the appropriate database(updating the bm file) until you actually try to access it,
e.g. by repulling the Bookmarks menu, clicking the popup, or showing the sidebar panel.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Surf any page that you don't have a BM for. Select Bookmarks|Add Current Page.
2) Select File|Quit.
3) Restart browser and pulldown Bookmarks menu. Notice no new BM.
Actual Results:
The new bookmark fails to be added to the bookmarks file in any capacity.
Expected Results:
Once the user selects Add Current Page, no further action should be required.
Build Date & Platform Bug Found:
This bug is XP and was reproduced on all platforms with the 20000111 builds.
Additional Information:
This bug will not reproduce if you have the Bookmarks sidebar panel installed and
open. The bug does become evident however if you simply hide that panel before selecting
Add Current Page.
