In the confirmation dialog there is an option to "Use my choice for all cookies from this site" but if you check this and press Allow then cookies will be retained after the browser has been closed. Just my opinion, but I think this is wrong and that they should still be limited to the current session (i.e. the "Use my choice..." should only apply to the acceptance or not of cookies from the site). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. See details
as of today's builds, these prefs are mutually exclusive and cannot be selected together. The cookie prompts now give an explicit choice between accept and accept for session, and if you choose this option you cannot also select limit to session (since the dialogs explicitly let you choose). If you're interested in how things work now, and will work in 1.7, try one of the nightly builds from today, or wait until 1.7 is released. When I have time I'll dupe this one to the first report of this behaviour.
