User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8

During adding current website to bookmark, the “Add to Bookmark” popup window
disabled some hot keys for other software even though Firefox doesn’t use it,
for example, Ctrl key for NJStar. It is OK for Internet Explorer. This is
important since Asians may use NJStar to input a Name for bookmark in their
language.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start NJStar Communicator, enter the Chinse Input mode
2. Bring up Firefox browser, open http://www.fit.edu
3. Click Bookmarks->Add to Bookmarks, the “Add to Bookmarks” popup window opens
4. Press Ctrl key, Notice nothing happens.
Actual Results:
NJStar didn’t change language setting

Expected Results:
NJStar should change language setting
To access NJStar, do you just press and release Ctrl? (That's similar to
WinXP's shortcut to switch languages, Alt+Shift, and equally strange :))

How do you tell whether NJStar has changed the language setting?

Do you have other examples of shortcuts that don't work in the Add Bookmark
dialog, or is NJStar the only one you tried?
(In reply to comment #1)
I only tried on NJStar. You have to install NJStar Communicator Software, after
launching the program, right click the icon in the system tray and choose
"NJStar Chinese Input" or else. A IME toolbar will appear in the buttom. Then
the "Ctrl" key will switch between Chinese input mode and English input mode.

Firefox has a different bookmark dialog now.

Reporter (Fen Wu) - can you try this with a recent branch nightly build of
Firefox and see if the problem still occurs? thank you
