237174 - firefox gui won't start after installation

i've downloaded and installed firefox 0.9 But when i try to start the program 
you can see the computer working and if i look the process firefox.exe is 
running but it seams that the gui don't start with it
i have redownloaded and reinstalled it a few times with the same result

Steps to Reproduce:
1.download
2.install
3.start

Actual Results:  
the process firefox.exe starts but not the gui

Expected Results:  
pop up a gui so i can use it

Did  you follow the install instrucciones?

Did you uninstall the old copy first?
Do you have any extensions enabled?

Worksforme with Firefox 20040425 on windows XP.
