There should be a UI preference to totally disable tabbed browsing, making it so
that no key combination ever opens a tab, no menu items pertaining to tabs are
visible, and so on. I have never opened a tab except by making typos, and I
find them incredibly annoying.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Accidentally hit ctrl-t.

Actual Results:
Tab shows up.

Expected Results:
Nothing at all.
I think the only tab pref that's missing is for right clicking on selected text
-> Web Search for ... (bug 133117).

I'm not much for tabbed browsing, although that could change in the future. :P
Doesn't bother me to change a few tab prefs, but a global one may not be a bad idea.
