When I opened my imap mailbox on nsmail-2, the inbox folder was in bold and had
"(61)" appended to it. Previous experience indicates that is supposed to be the
number of unread messages in that folder. There were 4 at the time. The entire
folder was only about 13 messages. There is no correlation I can easily see to
the number 61 at all.

Reassign to putterman. Steve, have you tried deleting your MSF file and allowing
us to rebuild all that info? That would help if the MSF file had gotten out of
sync with reality along the way.
I haven't seen this. Try deleting your .msf file. if this happens again, let
me know.

steve - do you still have this problem? I haven't seen this problem in a long
time. May want to mark wfm.
I'm going to mark WORKSFORME. If you're still seeing this Steve, after deleting
your .msf files please reopen. Since this bug was originally filed in January,
bienvenu has made a bunch of fixes to message counts.
