User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040117 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040315 The Measure tool does not display distance on Warpzilla, starting since 20040215-08 and including last nights Warpzilla (20040214-08 and earlier work correctly, as does 1.6 release and last nights Windows Mozilla). It is supposed to display distance between two or more points (and the mouse location). The help for the Measure tool is on this page: http://maps.sanantonio.gov/website/COSAMaps/Help.asp?#Miscellaneous%20Tools . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the URL 2. Click on Measure tool (third from bottom -- the icon is a ruler with two arrows and a ?) 3. Click on map, one or more times Actual Results: The distance for "Total:" and "Segment:" does not display at all. Expected Results: "Total:" should display the distance between all points you have selected, and "Segment:" is the same but adds in the distance to the mouse pointer coordinates. I am using Warp 4 + FP15, 512MB RAM, Athlon XP 1700+.
Worskforme on Linux... sounds like an OS/2-specific issue...

This works for me on Os/2. I think they are having network issues so you just have to be patient. IF you click too soon, the transaction hasn't finished so nothing updates.
I am used to their slow network, but that is not the problem here. To be more specific, on the earlier Warpzilla trunk builds, there are two entryfield-looking "read-only" controls that get updated with the distance, but on newer Warpzilla trunk builds the two entryfield-looking controls don't seem to appear -- therefore the distance is not displayed. So, lets say you select the measure tool and click on the map once. Then use "iptrace lan0" in a command line. Then just move the mouse around the map. Earlier trunk builds show the "Segment:" value updating the entryfield (the entry field for "Total:" stays at "0 Miles" as expected). Iptrace shows that the network is not even accessed when just moving the mouse. But on newer trunk builds there are no entryfields so you can't see it updating.
I tried this on a current nightly build and I don't see the problem. The two entry fields are there in the upper left and they update properly....
Sorry for your time. It turns out to be font size related on my part. I make my fonts 50% bigger (at 1600 res the fonts look like a smooth 1024 res) for Warpzilla release versions (for usability), but not Warpzilla nightlies (for testability) which I usually download a new one every week. But apparently since Feb 15 I have accidentally made the fonts bigger for the nightlies. On that map there is only one displayable row for the text and entryfields, but my larger fonts pushed the entryfields to the next row where it was hidden. Making my fonts smaller with Ctrl-minus brought the entryfields back to the visible row. Again, sorry.
