If I have some text in a textarea, and attempt to use the Right Arrow Key to get
to the end of the textarea then my cursor gets stuck just before the last character.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a Text Area
2. Enter Some Text
3. Use the Left Arrow to move away from the end of the text
4. Use the Right Arrow to try and return to the end of the text

Reporter, can you try in a new profile?

Hmm, it might also be a font issue. Maybe try with new fonts?

I see this behavior sometimes. And I have seen it while using different fonts
(currently using whatever mozilla chooses for "monospace"). I can't get to the
end of the text area with the "right arrow" but I can with the "down arrow" and
"end" key.
I'm seeing this with both Mozilla (1.6) and Firefox (0.8), both gtk2+xft builds.
I see this bug several times a day. You can't go there with right arrow key any
more (you don't get past the last character in the last line). Only a mouse
click or the down arrow key will take you there.

I'm also seeing this bug on Windows with Firefox 0.9rc.

This is still an issue with Firefox 1.0rc2. Annoying.

This specific bug is not present with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1;
en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050630 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005063006
However, while CTRL+Right Arrow works correctly as long as it does not encounter
a NewLine, once it encounters a NewLine, it will skip the first word following
the NewLine unless there is a space in front of this word. Going backwards with
CTRL+Left Arrow work fine. This overshoot is reported in bug #298150.
