I have five pop accounts.
I have set up forwarding filters on each of them to a folder named "common
inbox" in the local folders.
I had the beautiful idea that I then would create some rules from there to put
email in the appropriate subfolders.

But I found there is no possibility to add filters for the local folders.

If this feature was added, its implementation would be really simple:
Just run any filters for local folders AFTER all other "normal" filters.

I have set up everything conveniently around these local folders, so the lack of
filters there is a misfeature, me thinks.

This "misfeature" is exactly the same in thunderbird 0.4.
This is the mozilla suite, ver 1.6
