User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040318 Firefox/0.8.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040318 Firefox/0.8.0+

The top banner add always seems to layout/render wrong in any current nightly
(suite, firefox, camino). The banner overlaps other content that should be
below it on the page. My Camino on another machince (2004020303) doesn't have
this problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load www.versiontracker.com into camino/suite/firefox nightly.

Actual Results:
page layout/rendering problems.

This is a regression.
here's a screen shot showing the problem.
can someone say when this started happening?

roc? curious if this could be more fallout from your patch a week or so ago.

looks like it ... a float with overflow:hidden and auto width
Depends on: 237622
The windows version firefox was also reproduced.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ja-JP; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040318
Firefox/0.8.0+
237999 reports rendering error at same site - dup? Seems he's blocking the
banner there - with even stranger result than in the screenshots here. A build
from the 16th.

I confirmed;
1) Camino 20040312 NB has no problem.
2) Camino 20040313 NB has this bug.

So this bug has started since 20040313.

Here is another rendering problem (same topic):

Go to www.onvista.de

The search window appears on the very left edge overlapping everything else.
Same problem as I described on versiontracker.com (see attachment bug# 237999).
See the search-window. Same problem as on versiontracker.com.
I'm using Mozilla 1.6 on Solaris and it shows the same behaviour
with onvista.de, but only when I block ads with Adblock.
(Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040210)

Disabling Adblock seems to solve the problem. (Could still mean
that removing the banner as such causes Mozilla to misbehave
or breaks the layout of the page).
Fixed on Camino 20040327 NB.

for future reference (now that I've looked it up), the patch of roc's referred
to is the one for bug 235558, unless I'm mistaken.
