User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/85.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/85.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316
After creating a Mozilla profile, I went to open up Mail and Newsgroups. When at the account
manager, I went to create a mail account. After entering my user name & pop/smtp servers, I
clicked finshed. After a pause of about a half a second to a second, MailNews crashed. In
reproducing this, I have found that this behavior does not occur with news accounts or with new
accounts in already existing profiles.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create New Mozilla account.
2. Open MailNews
3. Go to Mail & Newsgroups settings.
4. Create New mail account
5. Click finish
Actual Results:
MailNews crashes.
Expected Results:
The Account manager should have exited, returning the user to the main screen.
I am on Mac OS X 10.2.8. My build ID is 20040316. My hardware is an iBook with the G3 900 mhz
processor. I am using the Classic theme.
Here's is the output from the console:
Applications/Mozilla.app/Contents/MacOS/mozilla-bin: can't map file: /Applications/Mozilla.app/
Contents/MacOS/plugins/Default Plugin.plugin ((os/kern) invalid argument)

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
