User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 On the URL described, you see a big textarea containing some text already (fyi: that is a quoted post). When you press shift (to select some text), and u hit the edge of the textarea, the whole thing dissapears. It happens to me on every valid textarea on the site, so i think it has to do with the way the textarea is builded (CSS etc) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the URL i gave, you should see a Dutch website. The particular page u are viewing allows you to reply on a thread, with a quote already filled in. 2. The big text-area holds the text u see above it, unparsed. It should start with [quote] 3. After that, select some text, just get familiar with the select thing. Not to insult you guys, but to be sure. 4. Accidently click the bottom edge (1px, in grey). Try it a few times. When u correctly hit it, or drag it (im not sure) the whole box disappears. Actual Results: As said, the box just goes away. The room it occupied goes empty. Expected Results: Nothing. Just nothing. Only shiftclicking the bottom makes it go away.
Worksforme with Firefox 20040425 on windows XP.
