User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040318 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040318 Firefox/0.8 Scrolling in the download manager is very slow. It is possibly due the fixed background(?) present in the download manager. I know mozilla has performance issues when it comes to websites that make heavy use of fixed background images. When you have a lot of downloads(finished or ongoing) in the download manager, scrolling becomes painfully slow. Please improve the performace. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have 6+ items listed in the download manager. 2. Resize download manager window so that you have to scroll a bit. 3. Scroll using the scroll buttons or the mouse scroll wheel Actual Results: Scrolling is jerky/sluggish. Expected Results: Scrolling should be smooth. My machine config: Dual PIII 800MHz with 896 MB PC 133 RAM. ATI AIW 7000 w 32mb video ram. a decently powerful machine. But download manager scroll is sluggish and jerky.
This is Firefox specific (wrong Product Browser). Seems to be a duplicate of Bug 227260. If you agree, please resolve it so.
