Every time i close mozilla, the bookmarks I just saved/imported from IE disappear.

every time i save a bookmark or try to import my bookmarks from IE, it will show
them during the session while I have mozilla open. If I exit the program and
re-open it, the bookmarks are gone. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.save/import bookmarks
2.close mozilla
3.reopen mozilla and try to use a bookmark

Actual Results:  
no bookmarks present in bookmark manager

Expected Results:  
save bookmarks for future use

This happens everytime I use mozilla
